High Five for Friday

1)Lace and polka dots always make the day more fun.

2) Lavender nail polish. I really like this spring color!

3) The baby shower for one of my good friend Jenny went really well! So many wonderful ladies were involved in making it happen, and it was great to be part of it! (I cant wait for that baby to be here!) (This was actually two weeks ago)

4) I got a cute pouch from the pleated poppy! I love it!!!!

5) I got to see my good friend from high school, Katie and her family. I also got to meet her second son Levi for the first time! I just forgot to take a picture. Again.

How was your week? I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Easter!

High Five for Friday

1) I got to attend and participate in worship practice for our church Legacy. Getting to worship with my close and talented friends brought me more peace and joy than I can describe.

2) These guys always make me smile.

3) I love these bracelets from the Shine Project .

4) Made fort with Ben in our living room. We also ate dinner and watched a movie in it. Sometimes its just nice to not take life so seriously.

5) My sister called this week so I could help her pick out her Prom dress on line. (She is going to look stunning! As usual.) She always makes me so loved and important. It meant more to me than I may ever be able to tell her.

How was your week? I hope you have a great weekend!!!

Love Always,
Alix

Color Run

A month and a half ago I did the color run with my Father and sister Eryn. My brother's girlfriend Ana, her sister Maggie, and Maggie's boyfriend participated in another heat than us. My brother was going to participate, but he had to stay at school for a project.

Anyway, my Father and sister did AMAZING! They ran almost the whole thing, and I have never run a race that was that much fun.

In Arizona we have 355 days of sunshine. On this morning, it poured, the entire time. We figured we might as well do it any way, we each got a cold after, but it was worth it!

For those of you who have never heard of the color run, this is what happens. You as the runner, wear a white shirt and run a 5k. While you run, there are five stations in which several volunteers through colored corn starch at you.

This is what you look like before:

Don't you love our shades?!
This is what you look like after....

Are you ready for some really attractive pictures of me completely drenched?

Here you go...

We had such a great time we want to do it again next year! My mother and husband have said they will join us too. I cant wait to make this a family tradition!

What fun runs have you done? I would love to hear your suggestions!

Love Always,
Alix
