One Year Anniversary Celebration!

I know, I am WAY behind on my blogging. Therefore, I will start from the beginning. For our one year anniversary Ben surprised me with a stay at Star Pass in Tucson AZ. Star Pass is a gorgeous resort way outside Tucson in the surrounding mountains.

We stayed there both Friday and Saturday night. To make it even better, the resort was decorated for Christmas. They were also having their winter wonderland celebration. There was snow ( in the desert that's a big deal!),  and lots of fun festivities.

On Monday December 17th, our actual anniversary, we got all dressed up and went to the Melting pot. It was a great weekend, and I am so blessed to have Ben as my husband!

What a wonderful and amazing year! This year God has really brought us closer together, and has provided in more ways than we could have imagined. Here is to another great year!

Our One Year Anniversary

Ben and I just had our one year anniversary on December 17th. I can't believe a year has flown by. So much has changed, our first apartment, new jobs, new church, new traditions. Its been the best year of my life.

I thank God for that husband of mine everyday. I don't know why God saw fit to bless me whith such a wonderful man, but I am so thankful he did! Ben has always been supportive, caring, understanding, kind, generous, intelegent and just a little goofy :)  Ben if you are reading this, I love you with all the heart God has given me. I love you more now than yesterday and less than I will tomorrow. Thank you for being such an incrdible husband and friend. I don't know what I would do without you! Happy Anniversary my one and only!

Grand Canyon, Helicopters, and Bears Oh My!

This Thanksgiving weekend we went to spend time with Ben's family in Flagstaff AZ. We had such a wonderful time! On Friday, we went on a few great adventures! ( Warning TONS of pictures are about to ensue.)

We woke up early, and left for the Grand Canyon. Once we got there Grandpa had arranged for us to go over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter!!!!! It was an experience I will never forget. The view was breathtaking! Pictures cant do it justice, but we sure did try!

We may have knocked heads once or twice trying to take this picture. 

After lunch, we then drove to Williams Az. Ben's parents took us about a place called Bearizona. Bearizona is a kind of park where you drive through various animals habitats including, you guessed it, BEARS!

Why, yes those are several LARGE black bears eating three feet away from us! 

We made so many wonderful memories that weekend! We also had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Grand Canyon and about the animals that we saw. ( Did you know porcupines climb trees?! I certainly didn't.) I cant believe all the amazing things my eyes beheld!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year reminds us of what we have to be thankful for.

So here are ten things I am thankful for not only today but everyday! 

1) Benjamin! My husband is not only better than I could have prayed for,he can fix anything. Computers, dinning room tables you name it he can fix it! I am so very in love with him and I can't wait to see our future adventures unfold.

2) A job. Not having one for a while gave me great perspective.

3) A relationship with God. He always has a great plan that's WAY better than mine.

4) My parents and siblings. I could not ask for a better family to grow up with.

5) My in-laws I'm so blessed to be part of such a wonderful and welcoming family.

6) Iced Chi Tea

7) Technology, how cool is it that we can see and talk to someone across the world?!

8) Running

9) Warm blankets ( we are in Flagstaff for the weekend.)

10) Our friends I don't know what we would do without you!

I could go on forever, but I'm sure you have a Thanksgiving to spend with loved ones!!!

The faux leather jacket fit really well when I tried it in the store the other day. I really liked how comfortable it was while being a little more put together.  

There were so many great items made in different colors, materials, and cuts. Therefore I felt the need to put all of them on here!!!! Have a great Tuesday!
