To My Dearest Sister Eryn...

My younger sister is graduating from High School on Friday. She has worked so hard and will even be the salutatorian of her class. My family and I could not be more proud of her!

Eryn, as you start this new chapter of your life I wanted to share a few things I learned in college. My dearest sister always remember your H.E.A.R.T.S.

H- Hold on to your faith. Your faith will get you through both good and bad times. It will also help    you find the plan God has for you.

E- Enjoy your time in college! Before you know it, the next four years will fly by. Have some fun! ( 100% legal fun...I know you wouldn't do anything like that, but I have to put the disclaimer;)

A- Always remember to call Mom and your sister too! You will always be one of Mom's little girls. Both her and I just want to be part of your life always:)

R- Remember to pray. Don't only hold on to your faith, but grow your faith. You have such a great relationship with God, and I can't wait to see how he uses you!

T- Take time to make great friends. Those friendships could last a lifetime, and bring a lot of laughter and happiness to your life.

S- Smile! You have a smile that brings such joy to the world. Heaven knows that the world could always use more joy!

Sis you have become a remarkable woman who is not only intelligent but strong. You make me laugh more than anyone else in the world! I can not wait to see the plans God has for you. I know one thing for sure, God is going to use you for amazing things.

Congragulations Eryn! You are amazing! I love you!

Love Always,

  1. Congratulations, Eryn on graduating!! My sister graduated high school in a few weeks...I can't believe it. I do think it's so important (for college freshmen especially) to hold tight to their faith. It will be tested so much, but if they're strong, they'll be just fine!

    1. Congrats to your sister too! Graduating is such an accomplishment! I am sure you are very proud. I know God will take care of our girls:)
